Name: Cookie and Yogi
Breed: Cavapoos
Sex: Male -  brothers
Age: 10 yrs
Colour: White and White with Fawn
Dog friendly:

Happy to walk with other dogs after gentle intro's quite timid

Cats: Unknown
Children: 10 +

Cookie and Yogi have come into rescue as the younger resident dog bullies them.

They are lovely, friendly boys and Cookie is the more confident when meeting people and Yogi will follow his lead, but Yogi is the more confident meeting new dogs and Cookie will initially stand back and observe but then happy to join in on the walk. Both boys have just been neutered by us and had extensive dentals so they are now ready for homing x  They don't seem to have experienced much, so we are looking for a quiet home that will take the time to gently introduce them to the outside world x

We are looking to move them into foster and will update this once that has been done.

All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and  neutered  where medically appropriate.

Name: Coco
Breed: Crossbreed - medium size
Sex: Female
Age: 6 yrs
Colour: Tan with white
Dog friendly:

Not very confident at first but soon makes friends

Cats: Needs to be a confident cat that will stand it's ground
Children: 10 +

Coco has come into rescue due to her owners health issues as she is no longer able to walk her as she is too strong on the lead.

She is a really sweet girlie, full of fun and makes us laugh every day with her funny faces and playful antics!!! She would suit a fairly active home where there is lots going on as she is very inquisitive and likes to be involved with everything. Coco loves toys and seems to be reliving her second puppyhood with mad zoomies around the garden and field!!  Coco previously walked and stayed with other dogs but has not done so for a considerable time and we are hoping her new owner will gently introduce her back into this and she can once again have some doggy friends to interact with.

When she arrived at HQ we were concerned about her urination pattern and subsquent tests and scans revealed a large bladder stone which had been there for a long time. This has now been surgically removed and she has had two clear post op urine tests and is now back on a normal diet and we are confident with regular exercise and normal access to water that this will not occur again.

Coco has recently been to stay with an existing home and their 10 yr old Lab boy Monty. During her stay it became very apparent that she is quite a Miss Bossy Boots and wasn't keen to share any of the attention with Monty, and would stop him entering rooms by rushing in front of him or chasing him away, whilst there was no agression, the poor timid lad felt quite intimidated and as such we feel she would be best suited to a home whereby she is the only pet but has doggy friends to play with on walks. Monty's mum Gilly, said she was such a lovely girlie, clean and well behaved but sadly too much for Monty x

BLIND AND LOOKING FOR LOVE AND A WARM LAP

Angel is an adorable , loving & friendly scruffy 11 year old terrier and is sadly looking for a retirement home with a warm lap and lots of cuddles due to a change in personal circumstances.

Her lack of sight doesn’t hold her back and she successfully navigates herself around the home - finding all the best laps and pillows for a snooze. She enjoys her walks and has great recall, always listening out and sniffing for where you are, and will follow you around off lead, just needing a little voice guidance around any obstacles such as holes or steps.

She has lived with other dogs, but over time it becomes apparent that she would prefer to be the only permanent dog in the household - visiting dogs are fine though.

Angel likes to spend her evenings cuddled up next to you, but will also settle in her own bed or with a chew if she senses you are near.

Recent upheavals and her lack of sight have compounded her separation anxiety and she is currently on some medication to assist with this whilst she is settling here at ECR HQ and we would look to continue this initially when she goes to her new home at the rescue cost.

We would look for the new owner to work with a behaviour programme to help assist with the separation issues and really looking for someone that is home based/retired, with understanding neighbours as she does tend to bark when left.

She is such a sweet girlie, just wanting to be loved and so happy to sleep in her bed or nibble on her chews whilst you are busy doing things in the house and it is so sad that she hasn’t got her own lap to snuggle in ☹

If you have room in your heart and on your sofa for this little angel, please contact us.

We are looking for either an Adoption  or a Foster ( where all veterinary expenses will be covered by the rescue) Home for Angel.

Angel  is vaccinated, microchipped and  neutered .
