Name: Gyps
Breed: Collie
Sex: Female
Age: 11 years
Colour: Tri-colour
Dog friendly: Yes
Cats: No
Children: 8+

Gyps is a lovely calm and affectionate older girl who has come back into rescue due to her owners illness.  She has settled in really well into her foster home with terrier Bob, but is now looking for her new forever home.

Walks together are a real joy as Gyps is very good off lead and extremely obedient and responsive to instruction.  She likes a sniff but is keen to keep up with her foster brother &  will always check you’re there too.

Whilst Gyps can be left in the house for a few hours, whilst out shopping etc. She would prefer a new home where the owners are around a fair bit of the time, as she loves human company & prefers to be able to follow you  around the house or see where you are.

Gyps is also used to sleeping upstairs in the  bedroom at night. (we believe this is where she has slept all her life) , so if her new owners were accepting of this situation; it would give Gyps the emotional support she needs.  She is no trouble and settles down straight away. She sleeps though the night and first let out in the morning, she’ll go straight out into the garden and have a poo. She is regular as clock work!!

She  is very affectionate and loves a cuddle and belly rub. She enjoys a good to brush and will happily lay down quietly. She is always wagging her tail and so so pleased to see everyone.

To be honest the only reason her foster home are not adopting her, is because they  work full time, and they feel that  she would favor a home where her owners can be around a bit more in the week. She is otherwise a terrific and intelligent little girl. A joy to share life with.

All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and  neutered  where medically appropriate.

Name:

Jason (RESERVED)

Breed: Poodle Cross
Sex: Male
Age: 15 months
Colour: Dark Grey/brown
Dog friendly: Yes
Cats: Unknown
Children: 10+

Jason is a lovely young crossbreed lad who comes from a family home, where he has been much loved; but sadly his owner is no longer able to take care of him , so he is looking for a new home.

Jason gets on well with other dogs , and wants to say hello to all of them, though he can be a little timid when meeting strangers in the home for the first time.

He stands about 25" to the shoulder, and possibly has poodle & collie in the mix .  He is housetrained, can be left for a few hours and travels well.

Jason is used to having free run of the house and is not destructive, and likes to sleep upstairs with his owner.

He would love  an active home, perhaps with another dog to play with , and with a family willing to put some time into training to work on his recall so that he can enjoy running off-lead

All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and  neutered  where medically appropriate.
